Step up for the 10k Challenge and help raise vital funds and awareness for children with disabilities in Africa.
Why Walk For Able Child?
Able Child works toward a world in which no child with a disability is left behind. We support a network of organisations in Africa to protect, educate and amplify the voices of children and young people with disabilities, so they are able to thrive.
Whether you’re walking, jogging, or being pushed, this family-friendly event is an opportunity to challenge yourself while making a real impact!
Starting at the Barge Walk by Kingston Bridge, you will follow a scenic riverside route to Hampton Court Palace, before looping back to finish at the Barge Walk with celebrations, medals, and refreshments.
This is an inclusive event, open to children aged 13 and under, who must be accompanied by one parent on the day.
Registration will open at 8:30am, the walk will kick off at 9am and finish by 11am.
What to expect on the day
- A covered start point to set you on your way.
- Able Child stewards and signposts to guide you around the loop.
- A medal and finisher’s reception to celebrate.
- Refreshments and fun!
